These faceplates are precision CNC machined from tool steel to ensure maximum accuracy and perfect balance. Measuring 100mm in diameter there are a series of eight timber mounting holes which are deep countersunk on the rear face and shallow countersunk on the front face to guarantee that the blank sits square. Two circular grooves machined into the face of the plate assist in centering the blank.

The boss of the plate is machined to an accuracy of +/- 0.01mm to ensure concentricity, resulting in fine, chatter-free turning. The boss features two flats to allow for a spanner to be used to remove the faceplate from the drive spindle. These are excellent, precision machined faceplates. ©
